To the Forgotten Fruits Casola Valsenio dedicates every second and third weekend of October a unique and original festival. In the cheerful and colorful stalls that fill the squares of the small historic center, autumn fruits awaken curiosity for the truly distinctive shapes, colors, and flavors. Azzeruole, blackthorns, rose apples, and dogwoods are offered both au naturel and processed in the form of jams, quince, jujube broth, and so on. The market exhibition is accompanied by set-ups, decorations and reconstructions that recall the atmosphere of the rural world of the past. The food stand, on the other hand, offers autumn specialties, and restaurants prepare dishes made from forgotten fruits for the occasion.

This year the event will be held on the weekends of October 8 and 9 and October 15 and 16.
